Biotechnological and Technical Challenges Related to Cultured Meat Production

The constant growth of the population has pushed researchers to find novel protein sources. A possible solution this problem been found in cellular agriculture, specifically production cultured meat. In following review, key steps for vitro meat are identified, as well most important challenges. main biological and technical approaches taken into account discussed, such choice animal, animal-free alternatives fetal bovine serum (FBS), cell biomaterial interactions, implementation scalable sustainable biofabrication culturing systems. light findings, promising is, discussed challenges an initial stage. Hence, research must overcome these ensure efficient large-scale production.
